 This is a good table fish. Cooked or fried meat is white, soft and tasty. The soup is greenish and excellent in taste. Products canned in oil (prepared from steam blanched fish) have a good appearance and taste, the meat is cream colored and soft. Meat products canned in tomato sauce is soft and unpleasant to the taste. This fish could be used as a table fish for first and second course dishes.
